On January 13th 2022, TenglerGluttig hosted a corporate workshop for the SCM Network. 21 SCM members joined the online event via Teams. TenglerGluttig is a supply chain management consultancy based in Vienna. With more than 35 years of experience, they are experts in their field and specialize in optimizing planning and control of supply chains.
In the beginning, Gregor Gluttig, founder and managing partner of TenglerGluttig, introduced the company including their background, values and tasks. The next point on the agenda was a consulting project presentation in which students gained insights from the consultant’s view by Gregor Gluttig as well as the client’s view by Philipp Brucker. The project presentation included an introduction of the client and its challenges, the benefits which TenglerGluttig achieved for the client and changes made within the client’s company. As a follow-up, in an interactive discussion part the typical challenges in a consulting project and the success factors to overcome them were addressed. Furthermore, career opportunities and paths were introduced by Mareiker Hetzer as well as the recruiting process, characteristics they are looking for in their candidates and their internal training plan. The event was finished off with a Q&A session. Originally, the agenda included an interactive case study which needed to be postponed to spring due to the current COVID restrictions.
