This data protection declaration clarifies the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) within our online offer and the websites, functions and content associated with it, as well as external online presences, such as our social media profile.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Media

During events organised by our organisation The Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien (and if applicable its designated representatives) may take pictures/videos/images of you for marketing related activities. The Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien may publish and share them afterwards on the internet/social media/with corporate partners (e.g. website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn;  accessible at all times) for public relation purposes. Granting consent does not incur any non-monetary or monetary incentives and can be revoked at any point in time in the future by sending an e-mail to mail@scm-network.com or through a written note sent to Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien, Welthandelsplatz 1/D1, Raum 3.106, 1020 Vienna, AT.

In case of your withdrawal of consent, all images/pictures/videos will be removed from our platforms. Images/videos published on the internet will be removed to the extent the Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien is reasonably and rightfully able to.

Contact Forms & Member Registration

Your personal data including, Full Name, E-Mail Address, Member Status and any information voluntarily provided upon application is electronically and manually used and processed within the Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien for the at least the duration of your membership for membership purposes. Data is processed and used for financial purposes (membership fee payment), member administration and statistics, the distribution of invitations, information and newsletters on events organised, featured or visited by the Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien (e.g. general assembly, corporate events, sport events, networking among members) as well as participation lists and other documents necessary for the administration of these events. The provision and usage of the mentioned personal data complies with the general purpose and scope of actions of the Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien as stated in its Statuten.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Newsletter - Mailchimp

The newsletter is sent via the mailing service provider “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The Rocket Science Group LLC d / b / a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with the European level of data protection. The shipping service provider is based on our legitimate interests in accordance with. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and an order processing contract acc. Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 GDPR used. The shipping service provider can send the recipient’s data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assignment to a user, to optimize or improve your own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the shipping service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

Google reCaptcha

LinkedIn

Functions and contents of the LinkedIn service, offered by the inkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, can be integrated into our online offer. For this purpose, e.g. Contents such as images, videos or texts and buttons belong with which users can share contents of this online offer within LinkedIn. Instagram

Functions and contents of the Instagram service, offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA, can be integrated into our online offer. For this purpose, e.g. Contents such as pictures, videos or texts and buttons belong with which users can share contents of this online offer within Instagram. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), on the basis of our legitimate interests (ie interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) . In order to track your session usage, Google drops a cookie (_ga) with a randomly-generated ClientID in your browser. This ID is anonymized and contains no identifiable information like email, phone number, name, etc. We also send Google your IP Address. We use GA to track aggregated website behavior, such as what pages you looked at, for how long, and so on. This information is important to us for improving the user experience and determining site effectiveness. If you would like to access what browsing information we have – or ask us to delete any GA data – please delete your _ga cookies, reach out to us via this the email below, and/or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On. The information generated by the cookie by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor who try to contact us through our contact forms and try to login may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Moreover as mentioned above if you ave not opted out of google analytics some data will be transferred and stored on Google’s servers. Similarily, when you use one of our social media channel to comminicate with us such as facebook, instagram and linkedin, these channels may store information on you.

Additional information

How we protect your data

In order to keep your data safe we try to limit the access to your data. Organisational measures include restricting access to the personal data solely to authorised persons with a legitimate need to know for the purposes of this processing operation and we review the authorised persons yearly. Moreover, in order to keep unauthorised personal out we use security software that limits the risk of unauthorised access.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the event of a data breach the Supply Chain Management Netzwerk Wien will notify the data security agency in charge witin 72 hours and notify the users that were affected by the breach.
