On January 11th, 15 students of the Supply Chain Management Network Vienna participated in a Supply Chain Management workshop with our partners from Accenture at WU Campus. It is important to mention that three presenters were alumni from our program.

To begin, the alumni Lukas Gisch and Daniel Kohlmann talked about Accenture as a company, its business model and global presence. Three TED Talks held by Miriam Weber, Michael Eichstedt and Elke Huisman offered interesting insights about innovative topics like Blockchains in Logistics, Robotic Process Automation and Procurement Ecosystem Management. The SCM Network members then had the opportunity to work in groups on case studies which were based on the TED Talks and to present their results to the Accenture consultants. In the end a get-together with food and drinks rounded off an interesting evening.

We want to thank Accenture for this inspiring event.
