On Friday June 10th, 12 SCM students and 3 SCM alumni participated in the Institute for Controlling’s annual 5-km run. Organized in teams of 3 runners, our SCM athletes were supported, as usual, by a crowd of fans !
After the start of the race at 6:30pm, all SCM participants found their pace and spread out among the remaining runners. All fans were ready to cheer at the finish line!
SCM Team Donald won the third place in the team category (times of all runners in the team are added up), with an overall time of 59:08,5! Congratulations to Lucas Van der Veen (18:14,60), Peter Wiedner (19:23,20) and Matthias Kaiser (21:30,70) for their achievement!
Our alumni team “the SCM worn-out dogs” placed fourth in the team category, with an overall time of 1:01:01,3 ! Congratulations to Johan Cantú (19:45,20), Jussi Rihto (20:06,40) and Tijn Tuinhof (21:09,70) !
Great job also to our three remaining teams, Tick, Track and Trick!
Finally, congratulations to Gesine Koinzer for placing 7th in the women’s category, and Lucas Van der Veen for placing 10th in the men’s category.
