On January 19th, 30 members of the SCM Network had the opportunity to visit the site of Henkel CEE in the 3rd district of Vienna.
Henkel is a multinational corporation headquartered in Germany with major businesses and market-leading positions in the Adhesives, Beauty and Laundry markets. Brands like Schwarzkopf, Bref, Fa, Loctite, Pattex, Persil and many more are part of the Henkel Group.
We were warmly welcomed by Henkel employees working in different fields of Supply Chain and Operations management, who held very interesting presentations about Supply Chain management at Henkel and related challenges, as well as corresponding job opportunities. These presentations were followed by a plant tour through Henkel’s biggest liquid detergent factory worldwide, located right in the center of Vienna. Afterwards, networking took place over a nice lunch at Henkel’s canteen.
